CoilChem has developed and patented a state of the art liquid friction reducer, delivery system, and data acquisition (Chem Trac).

Jerry Noles - Owner, CEO and Technical Director

With more than 30 Years of experience in Snubbing, Well Control, Work-Over and Coiled Tubing Operations, Jerry is considered to be a world renowned leader in the Coiled Tubing Industry. Jerry is noted as completing the first successful coiled tubing horizontal directionally drilled well in the lower 48 and completed the first horizontal shale well with coil tubing. He was instrumental in developing the tools and techniques that are now industry standards in coil tubing completions. A pioneering inventor, Jerry holds Multiple Patents related to Coiled Tubing and has written and lectured extensively on the application of coiled tubing and drilling operations. Jerry’s meticulous management style and his comprehensive experience in the industry ensure the most critical technology advancements, keeping CoilChem LLC at the forefront of success.

Danny Wesley - Co/Owner President

Daniel’s career in the oil and gas industry started in 1987 as a Laboratory Technician and Plant Operator. He has held various ownership and managerial roles in several different industries. Daniel has taken on the operational roles for many different markets including but not limited to: agribusiness, wholesale purchasing, retail operations, HR, and oil/gas operations. Daniel’s peer reviews are clear in his business management and solid ethics. He is an expert in business management start-ups and successful turn-around operations. Daniel has frequently been asked to speak on behalf of company executives and leadership groups known as an inventive entrepreneur and innovative leader, Daniel brings his diverse success and passion to the helm of CoilChem LLC.

Jason Watts - Co/Owner, and VP of Manufacturing, R&D

Jason has studied across multiple industries, including oil and gas, waste water treatment, and pulp and paper chemical applications. Jason began his career in the pulp and paper industry as production manager for Macallen Chemical. Jason played a key role in product development with the formulation of vinyl chemistries and polymeric reactions as well as process design, sales and technical support. Jason is educated in multiple disciplines focusing on oil and gas, water treatment chemistries and chemical applications. Jason was co/owner of Precision Process Chemicals where he specialized in well corrosion protection and emulsion breaker technologies. His diverse industry experience with water treatment chemistries has played a vital role in the formulation of CoilChem LLC’s patented friction reduction chemicals. He also plays a vital role in the design and implementation of CoilChem LLC’s state of the art equipment delivery applications.

Troy Bishop - Vice President of Sales and Marketing

Troy’s career in the oil & gas industry began in 2001 as a V.P. of Venture Development for a boutique private equity energy firm. His primary role was the prospecting, development, and fundraising of multiple well joint venture drilling programs. Recruited to a larger firm in 2003, he negotiated the sale/acquisition of multiple oil related assets valued of approximately $40 million dollars. During his tenure at the private firm, Troy went on to fund 12 private joint ventures through the acquisition and syndication of oil and gas investments. Peer reviews note Troy as a confident and aggressive business builder. A leader that is goal focused with a unique ability to interface with professionals at every level. A results proven management professional, Troy brings intense focus to the health and growth of CoilChem LLC, and its customers.

George Dixon - Engineering Manager

Operated and maintained reservoir fundamentals laboratory for Conoco Phillips for over 32 years. With over 30 years specific to chemical engineering research and development, equipment process and manufacturing. He is an expert chemical engineer with primary discipline in polymer development for the oil and gas industry, used in both drilling and fracturing applications. George has also been instrumental in the design and construction of various laboratory equipment specific to chemical engineering. He is also known as one of the most renowned chemical engineers in the oil and gas industry. George brings his wealth of experience and continues to be vital in the development of CoilChem LLC’s broad range of proprietary patented chemical applications.

Dr. Sangjoon Kim - Plant Manager

Dr. Sangjoon Kim holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Toledo, Toledo, OH. His targeted research spans multiple disciplines ranging from Polymer composites, organic products and fertilizers, as well as waste tire plastic components for which Dr. Kim is a patent holder. Dr. Sangjoon Kim’s dissertation on “The development and characterization of double layer hydrogel for agricultural and horticultural applications” was reviewed well within industry experts. Dr. Kim played a key role in the development of Polyurethane Hydrogel Composites with stable mechanical properties, and controllable dehydration rates. Dr. Sangjoon Kim is noted for multiple journal publications including but not limited to, International Journal of Polymer Analysis Characterization, polymer (Korea), Polymer Engineering and Science and was journal reviewed by Advances in Polymer Technology. Dr. Sangjoon Kim utilizes his extensive knowledge base as Plant Manager, ensuring optimum Chemical Manufacturing Process Control to CoilChem L.L.C.’s Rayville, LA manufacturing plant.
